Freightos Weekly Spot Rate (SFEU)

WHAT IS IT?

Freightos Weekly Ocean Container Spot Rate Index (SFEU) measures the daily price movements of 40-foot containers on specific maritime lanes. The index represents the all-in cost in $USD of a 40′ standard FAK (freight all kinds) container from container yard (CY) to container yard. The index values are calculated by taking the median price for all prices (to ignore the influence of outliers on active lanes), and include all ocean surcharges (BAF, CAF, SCS, PCS, PSS, WRS).
