WHAT IS IT?

Electricity retail sales measures the amount of electricity that is purchased by end consumers by sector. Retailing is the final stage in the process from generation to the final consumer, following generation, transmission, and distribution. The data is nonseasonally adjusted monthly and measured in trillions of BTUs.
