WHAT IS IT?

The growth amount of investment used when compiling Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This is a part of the four categories of GDP which include; investment, consumption, net exports and government spending on goods and services. Real Gross Private Domestic Investments are compiled of three types of investments; non-residential investments, residential investments, and change in inventories/stocks. (Measured in billions)
